The European Network of Filipino Diaspora (ENFiD) Norge, in collaboration with Kalayaan Norge Østfold, is excited to announce the Diaspora to Dialogue (D2D) Forum Norway, set to take place on June 27 2025, from 10:00 to 14:00 at Halden Town Hall, 8 Storgata, 1771 Halden, Norway. As part of the vibrant Kalayaan Philippine Independence festivities, the forum aims to inspire and empower the Filipino community by fostering meaningful dialogue centred on pivotal topics such as education, migration, family dynamics, employment, and the rich tapestry of cultural heritage.

A Gathering of Voices
This engaging event will take place at the historic Halden Town Hall, located at 8 Storgata, 1771 Halden, Norway. The Dialogue to the Diaspora [D2D] Forum will bring together an inspiring group of speakers and contributors who are passionate about the progress of the Filipino community. Among the participants are Philippine Ambassador to Norway Enrico Fos, Mayor of Halden Frederic Holm, and ENFiD Board Members and leaders such as Gene Alcantara and Christian Estrada (ENFiD UK), Marison Rodrigues (ENFiD Czech Republic), Marizel Rojas (ENFiD Austria), Jeffrey Morales (ENFiD Germany), Grace Orbon-Emmelot (Common Ground Kolektiv), and John de la Cruz (VP, Kalayaan Norge Østfold). ENFiD Delegates Ana Bel Mayo (Italy), Annie Estricomen (France), Marcelina Ermert (Switzerland), Aiesha Balmori (Czech Republic), and Maria Roled (Norway) will also participate. Additionally, the forum is spearheaded by community representatives, Roselyn Jensen (Kalayaan Østfold) and Gina Hardy (Leader, ENFiD Norge).
Together, they will explore themes of inclusion, identity, and opportunity, encouraging attendees to exchange ideas and shape impactful policies.
Call to Action
This forum serves as a bridge for cooperation among Filipino organisations, addressing challenges and fostering resilience. A call for action will conclude the event.
